A small finishing touch for a FOX-equipped bike, this anodised aluminium top cap suits a standard 1 1/8-inch threadless steerer setup. It is ideal for replacing a marked cap or adding a little FOX colour to the cockpit.
This is the stem cap only. Your existing top-cap bolt and compatible star nut or compression plug are required for installation.
Before You Order
Check that your bike uses a standard 1 1/8-inch threadless steerer. The top cap is used to set headset bearing preload before the stem bolts are tightened. It is not designed to hold the fork in place on its own.
If you are unsure about headset adjustment, get the shop to fit it. An overtightened headset can feel stiff, while a loose one can cause play and damage over time.
