The HAG has been a cornerstone tool in the Abbey catalog for a long time and it's accuracy is unparalleled in the industry. But what if you just want to check hanger alignment in a quick easy manner without removing your rear derailleur? Enter the preHAG!
This simple tool is meant to quickly see if the derailleur cage is parallel to the cogs. It simply presses onto the largest cog and hangs down to give you a reference plane to judge if your bike is square with the world. This isn't meant to replace the accuracy of a HAG, just add an additional step that doesn't require any disassembly of the bike for those pre ride once overs.
