Big news here! Joe Nation has signed with Specialized New Zealand. Having just recently fulfilled a contract with Bergamont, Specialized NZ is stepping up with support for 2018. Joe finished the 2017 Enduro World Series 22nd overall with a 9th place finish in Whistler. Super impressive.
We're stoked to help him get setup on his new Enduro Pro 29 and started with some Specialized kit just in time for the Dodzy Memorial Enduro this weekend. Joe was pretty keen to give the 29er a try and we're excited to see what he can do on it this year.
Definitely give Joe a follow. His riding clips are insane.

Joe's training/backup bike is a 2018 Enduro Pro 29. His EWS race bike will be the S-Works Enduro 29. As of now, the Pro is mostly stock with a few changes here and there. The front tyre is Specialized's new Butcher Grid 29 x 2.6" (stock is 2.3"). He went up to a 34T chainring (limited by the chainguide) and we'll probably be looking for a 36T after we get a guide that can take more (1st world pro racer problems).
The Enduro is a little different than what he's used to, coming from a 27.5" 150mm trail bike. The new 2018 Enduro 29 is 160mm travel with an adjustable 65.5-66° HTA. This weekend's enduro in Nelson should be a good first event to start getting her dialed in.
